I picked this up on a sale as an update to VMS 13. Works fine, crashes are rare, but happen every few hours. This package has most of the stuff needed for personal/semipro editing. If you can figure out using Virtual Dub/AviSynth for video pre-processing you will be golden.The main UI is good, fairly responsive and works well for editing. "Pan+Crop" is still a huge PITA to use - the controls are awkward and keyframing things like zooms are horrible. If possible, use the "picture in picture" effect instead.Video preview is reasonably fast, but desyncs quite a lot when effects are lagging.Exports are ok speed, but nothing impressive. There appears to be a bug with AMD hardware encoding, where it will only do 24fps, so I have to use the good, but slow Mainconcept export function.It appears to have "lost" the "HitFilm" plugins from VMS 13, but if you have the older version you can copy them over. Other than that I will recommend the upgrade, if you can get it on a sale.TLDR; Good reasonably priced. No big problems.. It's a good program for making high quality movies. For newbies it takes some time, to be able to use the program. If you took that time which is worth is, then you are able to make qualitiy videos by yourself easily and within short time. Downloading and installing via Steam was as usually easy and quick. I can work perfectly with it.Great value for money.. Good video editor, but crashes very often.. I have just bought the movie studio and had earlier version 8 times. I'm thrilled how the program has improved. The surface has become really great.
